# The Market Looks Calm. Underneath, Everything Is Moving

## **Things are moving**

Gold is going vertical, silver is pressing against a massive breakout level and the mechanics underneath both are getting increasingly interesting. Positioning still leaves room, while today's Treasury move has added another catalyst to a setup that was already building.

Away from metals, the old liquidity playbook continues to look less straightforward. Tech is no longer capital-light, momentum vol remains elevated beneath a calm index surface, and European banks continue to quietly outperform some of the market's most celebrated trades.
