# AIA 1H26 VONB Up 13% YoY; DPS Raised by 10% to HKD0.539

AIA (01299.HK) -1.000 (-1.370%) Short selling $360.86M; Ratio 19.177% announced its interim results for the six months ended June 2026. Value of new business (VONB) reached a record high of USD3.212 billion, rising 10% YoY at CER and increasing 13% at AER. Excluding the Thailand business, NBV rose 14% at CER. The interim DPS was HKD0.539, up 10% from HKD0.49 in the same period last year.

Net profit during the period amounted to USD4.294 billion, representing YoY growth of 62% at CER and 69% at AER. EPS was USD0.4121. The group returned USD3.6 billion to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks in 1H26. Shareholder capital ratio stood at 210% as of end-June 2026.
