# UNITED LAB  Expects Interim Net Profit to Drop 82% to RMB340 million

UNITED LAB (03933.HK) -0.435 (-5.009%) Short selling $19.10M; Ratio 38.452% issued a profit warning, expecting net profit for the six months ended end-Jun 2026 to be approximately RMB340 million, compared to net profit of approximately RMB1.893 billion in the same period last year, representing a decline of about 82%.  

The decrease in net profit was affected by declining market prices and demand adjustments for products in the intermediates and bulk medicine segments. In addition, licensing fee income from Novo Nordisk A/S amounted to approximately RMB101 million in 1H26, compared to approximately RMB1.433 billion from Novo Nordisk in the same period last year.
