# WuXi AppTec hits record high as biotech sector rallies

WuXi AppTec (2359.HK) rose **2.67%** in early Hong Kong trading on Thursday to HK$**207.40**, an all-time high.

The rally coincided with broader strength in the biotech sector, with peer WuXi Biologics jumping **7.5%** at the open and lifting sentiment across Hong Kong-listed pharmaceutical names.
