# WuXi Biologics climbs 7% to 52-week high on mRNA vaccine boost

WuXi Biologics (2269.HK) **climbed 7%** in early Hong Kong trading on Thursday, rising to **HK$50.05** and marking a **fresh 52-week high**.

The stock tracked a sector-wide advance in Hong Kong biotech names after Moderna and Merck released positive Phase III data for their mRNA melanoma vaccine, reigniting interest in the biopharmaceutical space.
