# CSPC PHARMA  Shares Rise 15% as Phase Ib/II Clinical Trial of SYS 6090 Injection for Hepatocellular Carcinoma Launches at First Center in China

CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK) +1.275 (+14.680%) Short selling $81.69M; Ratio 13.872% opened 9.38% higher today and once reached HKD10.04. The stock was last reported at HKD9.985, up 14.97%, with trading volume of 136 million shares involving HKD1.342 billion.

CSPC PHARMA announced that the Phase Ib/II clinical trial of SYS 6090 Injection developed by the group for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma has officially commenced at the first clinical center in China.

The product is classified as a Class 1 therapeutic biological product registration and is a recombinant fully human anti-programmed cell death protein 1 fusion protein combined with interleukin-15. Through its left arm, it targets PD-1 positive tumor-infiltrating immune cells and blocks the immunosuppressive function caused by the interaction between PD-1 and programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1). At the same time, through its right arm, it binds to the IL-15 receptor and activates downstream signaling pathways, further promoting the activation and proliferation of related immune cells.
