# Dongyue Group climbs 4% on H1 profit jump of 32%

Shares of Dongyue Group (0189.HK) climbed over **4%** to HK$**12.87** in Hong Kong trading on Friday.

The chemical materials producer reported first-half net profit of RMB **1.027 billion**, up **31.8%** year on year, on revenue of RMB **8.06 billion**, an **8%** increase. Gross margin widened to **37.18%**, with its refrigerant and silicone segments posting notable profit growth. The company did not declare an interim dividend.
