Ganfeng Lithium (1772.HK) **surged 8%** in Hong Kong trading to HK$**40.38**, as lithium-mining stocks broadly rebounded during the session.

BlackRock raised its long position in Ganfeng's H-shares to **7.73%** from 6.84% as of Aug. 17, signaling renewed institutional interest in the lithium sector.

The company has previously guided that lithium product supply growth will remain relatively slow through 2026-2027 while maintaining an optimistic demand outlook.
