# Gather House exceeds 90% occupancy after soft launch

**Phase 1 opened in early August with 72 beds for younger independent travellers.**

The Assembly Place Holdings Ltd. (TAP) has recorded occupancy of above 90% at Gather House’s 72-bed first phase following the premium capsule hostel’s soft launch in early August.

Located at 63 and 65 South Bridge Road, Gather House is being developed in two phases and will have 132 beds upon completion.

Phase 1 at 65 South Bridge Road comprises 72 beds, whilst Phase 2 at 63 South Bridge Road will add 60 beds and is pending its Temporary Occupation Permit.

Gather House targets younger and independent travellers seeking a balance between affordability, comfort, and experience.

Guests can also access member services and curated experiences through TAP’s network of service providers.

The launch marks TAP’s entry into the premium capsule hostel segment and its eighth brand. It follows the group’s expansion into multiple accommodation segments since its listing on the Singapore Exchange in January 2026.

TAP has entered the migrant workers’ accommodation segment through a joint venture, acquired 163 Tras Street for conversion into a hotel, and secured the lease of Char Yong (Dabu) Building for its artificial intelligence-powered co-living concept.

It also formed a joint venture to transform Phoenix Park into a community living destination and participated in a JV to redevelop a freehold site in Bukit Timah, where TAP is the project manager and is involved in sales and marketing.
