Advantech Unveils Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ IQ9-Based Solutions for Industrial Vision Intelligence 

The Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075 features an advanced vision processing architecture that combines an integrated ISP, VPU, and NPU with high-speed interfaces including MIPI-CSI, USB 3.0, and GbE. This architecture enables efficient image preprocessing, high-throughput video streaming, and scalable multi-camera deployment. With up to 100 TOPS (dense) and 200 TOPS (sparse) AI performance, the platform supports demanding computer vision workloads such as object detection, tracking, and OCR with low latency and high accuracy.

Built on a heterogeneous Arm-based architecture, the IQ-9075 processor delivers exceptional performance-per-watt for industrial edge AI. Its 8-core Qualcomm® Kryo™ Gen 6 CPU, combined with an integrated real-time MCU subsystem, enables deterministic performance for latency-sensitive and safety-critical applications. The close integration of AI processing and real-time control ensures responsive, reliable, and scalable edge intelligence in industrial environments.

To accelerate solution development, Advantech offers comprehensive software services spanning bootloader, operating system, and application development. The Advantech BSP Launcher simplifies BSP and image management, while the Edge AI SDK and Robotics Suite integrate AI frameworks, multimedia pipelines, and ROS2-based tools for rapid application development.
