# USA Rare Earth Stock (USAR) – U.S. Chess Champion Makes New Addition to Portfolio

Magnet-making stock USA Rare Earth (USAR) is the latest addition to U.S. chess champion Hikaru Nakamura's TipRanks investment portfolio. The company, which is aiming to build the world's leading rare earth value chain, from mines to magnet, has seen its share price strengthen 61% in the year-to-date. That's largely down to its primary product – sintered NdFeB (neodymium iron boron) permanent magnets, being critical components in the semiconductor, aerospace, defense, physical AI, energy, mobility, healthcare and consumer electronics industries.
