# XPeng Stock (XPEV) – XPeng's Robotics Unit Dogotix Valued at $6.3B After Record Fund Raise

Chinese EV maker Xpeng (XPEV) has raised $900 million to power its development of humanoid robots. The company said that its Dogotix robotics arm had raised the sum in a private financing round, which values the unit at over $6.3 billion. It reportedly marked the largest single-round capital rise in China's embodied AI industry.

However, it couldn't prevent the group's share price plunging 3% in pre-market trading as it posted a wider Q2 loss and reported that Q3 revenues and vehicle deliveries would fall short of expectations.
