# Biogen: LEQEMBI IQLIK Autoinjector Available In U.S. For Early Alzheimer's

Eisai Co. (4523.T,EII.SG) and Biogen (BIIB) announced that once weekly lecanemab-irmb subcutaneous injection - LEQEMBI IQLIK - is now available in the U.S. for initiation therapy for early Alzheimer's disease in adults with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia due to AD, collectively referred to as early AD. LEQEMBI IQLIK is administered via an autoinjector. 

LEQEMBI IQLIK is the first-of-its-kind anti-amyloid treatment worldwide offering at-home dosing for initiation and maintenance. The companies will provide a range of resources to help patients, care partners, healthcare providers, health systems and pharmacies successfully implement and use LEQEMBI IQLIK.

In pre-market trading on NasdaqGS, Biogen shares are up 0.38 percent to $217.60.
