Shares of **Nucor Corp (NYSE:NUE)** are up 4.6% premarket, after the U.S. and Canada failed to reach a trade deal Friday. Looking to rebound after an 8.5% drop, **NUE** is coming into today with a 21.1% year-to-date deficit. 3. **Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (NYSE:BABA)** is down 2.3% ahead of the open, after the China-based e-commerce giant announced a massive $10.2 billion share sale to non-U.S. investors in order to fund artificial intelligence (AI) projects. Since the start of the year, BABA is down 18.6%. 4. **Jersey Mike's Subs Inc (NYSE:JMKE)**, which has only been publicly traded since late July, just received a fresh wave of analyst coverage from no fewer than eight brokerages.
