What’s the outlook for MSFT shares?** ## **Congressman Discloses Stock Trades** Rep. **David Taylor** (R-Ohio) recently disclosed several stock transactions made in August, which can be found on the Benzinga Government Trades page. The transactions included the sale of $15,000 to $50,000 in **Microsoft Corp** (NASDAQ:MSFT). The purchases in the disclosure were the following: - **Aug. 11**: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in **Alphabet Class C** (NASDAQ:GOOGL) - **Aug. 11**: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Alphabet Class C - **Aug. 11**: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in **Procter & Gamble** (NYSE:PG) stock - **Aug. 14**: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in **Installed Building Products** (NYSE:IBP) stock Taylor has bought all of these stocks in the past, but they call out a potential interesting trade. Alphabet, a member of the Magnificent Seven stocks, has a market capitalization of $4.25 trillion. Procter & Gamble, a well-known, blue-chip, consumer products giant, has a market capitalization of $341 billion. Enter Installed Building Products, an insulation company with a market capitalization of $6.6 billion. This is on the low side for most stocks bought and sold by members of Congress. What makes the stock stand out even more is Installed Building Products is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Taylor’s home state. Taylor bought the stock multiple times in 2025 and 2026. The sales mostly happened in short time periods after the purchases and were completed when shares had risen. Taylor has so far timed all of his Installed Building Products stock trades to turn a profit. Taylor has made over 200 stock trades since 2025 according to data from Quiver Quantitative.
