# Humanoid Robots Could Match Humans Within 5 Years, RoboStrategy CEO Says

The timeline for humanoid robots becoming genuinely useful may be much shorter than many investors expect. In an exclusive email interview with Benzinga, **RoboStrategy, Inc.** (NASDAQ:BOT) CEO **Andrew Kang** said the biggest surprise over the next five years won’t be incremental improvements in robotics, but how quickly humanoid robots could rival humans in physical tasks.

“We don’t need to wait another 50 years for robots to be really useful in everyday life,” he said.

## A Faster Robotics Revolution Than Investors Expect

Kang sees advances in robot hardware, manufacturing and AI foundation models are accelerating at a pace that many people underestimate.

“In 5 years, I expect robots will be as capable, if not more capable than humans at most physical work.”

If that prediction proves accurate, it would represent a major shift for industries facing persistent labor shortages, from manufacturing and logistics to warehousing and healthcare. It would also strengthen the investment case for companies building humanoid robots such as **Tesla, Inc.** (NASDAQ:TSLA), **Boston Dynamics**, Figure AI, **Unitree Robotics etc**.. It would also benefit the suppliers developing the motors, batteries, sensors and AI systems that power them.

While commercialization is still in its early stages, Kang’s outlook suggests the conversation may soon shift from whether humanoid robots can perform useful work to how quickly they can be deployed at scale.
