# What's Going On With Dell Technologies Stock Tuesday?

**Dell Technologies Inc.** (NYSE:DELL) stock traded higher by more than 4% on Tuesday as buyers continue to lean into the broader tech bid and the stock holds a firmly bullish longer-term trend. The Nasdaq is up 0.51% while the S&P 500 has gained 0.13%, and Technology is leading sectors with a 0.83% gain.

The company used its 2026 forum in Seoul to lay out a broader enterprise AI strategy focused on controlling costs, strengthening security and moving more AI workloads across data centers, cloud systems and employee devices.

## Dell Pushes Hybrid AI To Control Rising Costs

At the Dell Technologies Forum 2026, the company argued that businesses now face a different AI challenge: moving from adoption to measurable business results.

Dell Technologies Korea President **You Sang-mo** said many companies still lack a clear roadmap for deploying AI despite strong interest. He also highlighted security, regulation, data governance and infrastructure readiness as major barriers.

Senior Vice President **Matt Dunphy** identified cost efficiency as another key issue as agentic AI increases the number of tokens companies process.

Dell recommended a hybrid approach that allocates workloads across cloud services, internal data centers and employee devices depending on cost, security and performance needs, the Seoul Economic Daily reported on Tuesday.

The company said businesses can use the cloud for large training jobs and demand spikes, keep sensitive workloads inside corporate data centers and run repetitive AI tasks directly on PCs or workstations.

## Dell Brings More AI Computing To Employee Desks

Dell expects companies to run more AI workloads directly on employee PCs and workstations as agentic AI adoption expands.

The company said local processing can reduce reliance on cloud services, make costs easier to predict and allow businesses to keep sensitive information inside their organizations.

Dell also reported growth in its enterprise PC business. Client Solutions Group revenue reached $14.6 billion in the last fiscal year, up 17%, while commercial client revenue increased 18% to $13 billion.

## SK Hynix Targets AI Memory Bottlenecks

**SK hynix Inc** (NASDAQ:SKHY) used the forum to outline new memory technologies aimed at handling rising AI computing demands.

Vice President **Joo Young-pyo** said existing memory systems could struggle as agentic AI requires faster data processing. SK hynix highlighted vertical memory stacking, processing-in-memory and memory pooling as potential solutions.

The company expects these technologies to increase available memory capacity, reduce energy used to move data and limit delays that leave high-performance processors waiting for information.

Dell hosted 25 sessions across AI, modern data centers and workplaces, with 43 companies and partners participating, including **Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.**, **Intel Corp.**, **Microsoft Corp.**, **NVIDIA Corp.**, Samsung SDS and SK hynix, the Chosun Biz reported.
