The product uses **pTokens**, which turn managed perpetuals accounts into transferable ERC-20 assets. The first offerings include **pBTC and pBTC3x**, providing 1x and 3x long and short Bitcoin exposure, along with **pHOOD3x**, offering 3x long exposure to Robinhood. The structure mirrors the convenience of leveraged ETFs by packaging complex derivatives exposure into a tradeable token. Why are HOOD shares rallying?** ## **QUICK CONTEXT: Leveraged ETFs Move Onchain** Leveraged ETFs have become a popular way for investors to gain amplified exposure to stocks, sectors and other assets without directly managing derivatives positions. Arcus is attempting to bring a similar packaging model to blockchain markets through tokenized perpetuals accounts. Its pTokens represent a pro-rata stake in an Arcus perpetuals account at a fixed market and leverage level, allowing investors to buy and sell the exposure as a spot token. That could make leveraged strategies more accessible while removing some of the operational complexity associated with managing collateral and margin. The launch also taps into a broader push to make tokenized assets more useful as collateral. More than half of global financial institutions are expected to be actively managing live tokenized collateral by the end of 2026, according to Nasdaq. Arcus is positioning its product at the intersection of that trend and the growing market for tokenized stocks and crypto assets.
