# Hold Rating Maintained as Strong Operations Offset Weaker Free Cash Flow and Price Target Trim to A$32.70

Analyst Cameron Needham from Bank of America Securities reiterated a Hold rating on Woodside Energy Group and decreased the price target to A$32.70 from A$33.40.

Cameron Needham has given his Hold rating due to a combination of factors, including a mixed financial outcome in the latest half. Operational performance was strong, with earnings and dividends exceeding expectations, but weaker-than-anticipated free cash flow and a reduced price objective to 32.70 AUD signal more constrained upside from current levels.

Cameron Needham’s rating is based on the view that project execution is progressing well and near-term production risks are diminishing, yet governance uncertainties and upcoming strategic decisions create potential overhangs. With Woodside trading at valuations that suggest a balanced risk‑reward profile, he sees neither a compelling case to upgrade nor downgrade the stock at this time. 

In another report released today, Citi also maintained a Hold rating on the stock with a A$31.25 price target.
