# NetEase climbs 3% intraday before paring gains on chip-funding news

NetEase (9999.HK) edged up **0.35%** in Hong Kong trading to HK$**199.70**, after climbing as much as **3%** to HK$**207.80** earlier in the session before paring most of its gains.

Qianheyibang, a 3D compute-in-memory chip startup co-incubated by NetEase, closed a Series B round of more than **2 billion yuan**, drawing investment from the National Adjustment Fund and China Mobile's Chain Leader Fund. The two-year-old company aims to address data-transmission bottlenecks in AI computing through 3D integration technology.

Separately, NetEase announced at Gamescom that its 2D urban-adventure game will launch globally on **Jan. 15, 2027**, arriving on PS5, PC and mobile platforms with DLSS 4 and ray-tracing support.

Overnight, NetEase's US-listed shares gained about **4.7%**, alongside a broader rally in Chinese ADRs.
