# Reports Say Anthropic Sees Potential Revenue Exceeding USD30 Trillion, Surpassing Space Exploration Technologies Corp.

The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reported that Anthropic plans to tell investors that its potential revenue could exceed USD30 trillion. Tech startups or other growth companies usually estimate their Total Addressable Market (TAM) during IPO preparations to demonstrate to investors that they still have ample room for growth, although such forecasts have always involved a degree of speculation. These projections are especially uncertain when forecasting how the rapid adoption of AI could disrupt entire industries. Earlier, Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX.US) disclosed potential revenue of about USD26.5 trillion, mainly driven by opportunities in the AI sector.

Anthropic's IPO is reportedly seeking to raise as much as USD100 billion, above the USD86 billion targeted by Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX.US) .
