On the sector front, gold, copper and other resource stocks rallied across the board, new energy names were active, and tech stocks broadly advanced, with Xiaomi climbing over 4%. CMOC and Jiangxi Copper were also buoyed by strength in international copper prices. **New Energy Sector Active; Goldwind Sci & Tech Up Nearly 9%** At midday, Goldwind Science & Technology (02208.HK) surged nearly **9%** to HK$10.20; GCL Technology (03800.HK) jumped nearly **8%** to HK$0.75; and CGN Power (01816.HK) gained over **5%** to HK$3.00. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently stated that it will accelerate the development of emerging pillar industries such as aerospace and intelligent robotics over the next five years, providing a boost to new energy-related sectors. **Tech Stocks Broadly Higher; Xiaomi Climbs Over 4%** At the midday break, Xiaomi Corporation (01810.HK) rose over **4%** to HK$28.96; SMIC (00981.HK) advanced over **4%** to HK$70.80; and Alibaba Group (09988.HK) edged up nearly **1.5%** to HK$115.90. The Hang Seng Tech Index gained 1.6% in the morning session, with most heavyweight tech names closing in positive territory. **Mainland Property Stocks Rebound; Sunac China Up Over 6%** At midday, China Jinmao (00817.HK) surged over **7%** to HK$1.61; Sunac China (01918.HK) jumped over **6%** to HK$0.61. Country Garden (02007.HK) inched up 0.5% to HK$0.198. **Oil Stocks Buck the Trend; Smoore and ZhongAn Online See Sharp Moves** Weighed by news of a major breakthrough in US-Iran ceasefire talks and Brent crude dipping below US$90, oil stocks bucked the broader market trend to trade lower. CNOOC (00883.HK) fell over **1%** to HK$24.76; PetroChina (00857.HK) dropped nearly **2%** to HK$9.90. Among notable movers, Smoore International (06969.HK) skyrocketed over **12%** to HK$11.51; ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance (06060.HK) surged over **10%** to HK$12.08.
