# Trending | XE Surges 5% on Tuesday, Some Call options Soar 150%

On August 25, Eastern Time, X-Energy options saw a total of 69383 contracts traded, with calls accounting for 79% and puts making up 20%.

X-Energy has 133174 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 62% and puts making up 37%.

The top volume gainer was the 35 dollars Call option expiring on September 18, 2026, with 28881 contracts traded.

On the news front, XE.US closed at $19.11, up 5.5%. Volume jumped 71% to 6.3M shares, turnover reached $119.5M. The rally coincided with heavy options trading, as select calls surged 150%, driving the price higher.
