# Why Quantum Stocks Rose Tuesday as INFQ Jumped 6% and Led the Sector

Quantum computing stocks moved higher on Tuesday, August 25, as investors returned to technology shares, with Infleqtion, Inc. (INFQ) leading the group after a recent quantum-computing milestone in Japan. Infleqtion gained 5.98%, while D-Wave Quantum Inc. (QBTS) rose 3.59%, Rigetti Computing, Inc. (RGTI) added 3.48%, Quantum Computing Inc. (QUBT) climbed 2.67%, and IonQ, Inc. (IONQ) advanced 2.41%.

The broad move came during a wider rebound in technology stocks. The Nasdaq 100 **(NDX)** rose 0.7% on Tuesday, while falling oil **(CM:CL)** prices and Treasury yields helped ease some pressure on growth stocks.
