The People's Bank of China conducted RMB103 billion of seven-day reverse repo operations today (27th). No reverse repos matured today, while the central bank also conducted RMB503.5 billion of overnight reverse repo operations. The three major A-share indices opened mixed. The Shanghai Composite Index opened down less than 1 point at 3,911. The Shenzhen Component Index opened up 35 points, or 0.26%, at 13,876. The ChiNext Index opened up 23 points, or 0.67%, at 3,437. Mainland bank stocks were soft. ICBC (601398.SH) -0.100 (-1.263%) and CCB (601939.SH) -0.130 (-1.218%) opened down 0.4% and 0.5%, respectively, while CMB (600036.SH) -0.320 (-0.804%) opened down 0.4%. Among mainland insurers, CHINA LIFE (601628.SH) -0.410 (-1.063%) opened down 0.6%, while CHINA PACIFIC INSURANCE (601601.SH) -0.130 (-0.407%) opened down 0.2%. PING AN OF CHINA (601318.SH) -0.370 (-0.659%) opened down 0.5%. In addition, BYD Company (002594.SZ) -0.610 (-0.662%) opened down 0.4%, while CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX (300750.SZ) -6.990 (-1.844%) opened down 0.7%. Among chip stocks, SMIC (688981.SH) +0.630 (+0.507%) opened down 0.1%, while HUA HONG GRACE (688347.SH) +3.610 (+1.479%) opened flat. AI chip stock CAMBRICON (688256.SH) +22.770 (+2.232%) opened up 2.5%. Domestic GPU stocks METAX (688802.SH) +26.320 (+4.006%) and MOORE THREADS (688795.SH) +16.350 (+3.105%) opened up 2.7% and 1.6%, respectively. LQKJ (688008.SH) +7.590 (+3.776%) opened up 2%. Optical fibre stock YANGTZE OPTICAL FIBRE (601869.SH) +38.800 (+9.999%) opened up 1.3%. Memory chip stock GIGADEVICE (603986.SH) +12.390 (+3.157%) opened up 1.2%. SEMIGHT INSTRUMENTS (688808.SH) +74.300 (+3.289%) opened up 6.2%. Meanwhile, CXMT (688825.SH) +0.820 (+1.462%) opened up nearly 1%. Among the three major optical module players known as "Yi Zhong Tian", ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) +27.800 (+3.267%) opened up 3.1% after its H shares were included in the Stock Connect eligible securities list.
