# NeuroOne Advances StereoCED Toward Human Clinical Studies

NeuroOne Medical Technologies ( (NMTC) ) has provided an update.

On August 27, 2026, NeuroOne reported the successful completion of three large-animal procedures at the University of Minnesota using its next-generation StereoCED platform for robotic-assisted intracerebral drug delivery and electrophysiological monitoring. In two cases, the company’s drug delivery electrodes both infused a study agent into targeted brain tissue and recorded intracranial activity from the same regions, a combination NeuroOne says is a first in convection-enhanced delivery.

The repeatable results in a large-animal epilepsy research program validated the platform’s technical feasibility and integrated surgical workflow, bolstering NeuroOne’s plans to launch StereoCED for human investigational clinical studies later in the quarter. Development of StereoCED devices for animal use finished ahead of schedule, enabling earlier-than-expected sales, with related revenue from the research program expected to be recognized in fiscal Q4 2026 as human-use devices near release by the end of that quarter.
