# Trending | SOFI Plummets 5% last Friday, Some Put options Soar 186%

On August 28, Eastern Time, SoFi Tech options saw a total of 486700 contracts traded, with calls accounting for 72% and puts making up 27%.

SoFi Tech has 4040655 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 67% and puts making up 32%.

The top volume gainer was the 19 dollars Call option expiring on September 4, 2026, with 27202 contracts traded.

On the news front, SOFI.US dropped 5.96% to $18.060 on Aug 28 on 45.67M volume. Heavy selling triggered a 186% surge in select put options as traders hedged downside risk.
