# Zig, Gojek expand tie-up to bring metered taxis to GoTaxi bookings

**The move follows an existing arrangement under which selected GoCar requests are already fulfilled by Zig taxis.**

Zig by ComfortDelGro and Gojek Singapore have expanded their partnership, which will make booking a metered taxi easier through the Gojek app. 

According to a joint statement, GoTaxi bookings can now be matched with and fulfilled by taxis on Zig's network.

The move builds on the companies' existing arrangement, under which selected GoCar requests are already fulfilled by Zig taxis, and reflects growing demand from commuters who value the convenience of booking through an app while continuing to enjoy meter-based taxi fares.

“By expanding our partnership with Zig, we are giving users access to Singapore’s largest and fastest-matching licensed taxi network and enhancing the overall booking experience for commuters,” said Janine Teo, general manager of Gojek Singapore.

Yee Hon Wai, head of rental at Zig, also said that “this expanded partnership creates more opportunities for our taxi drivers to secure bookings, helping to support sustainable earnings while continuing to meet commuter preferences.”
