# Analyst Upgrades TC Energy to Buy, Lifting Price Target From C$100 to C$102 on Attractive Valuation and Steady Growth

TC Energy, the Energy sector company, was revisited by a Wall Street analyst today. Analyst Sam Burwell from Jefferies upgraded the rating on the stock to a Buy and gave it a C$102.00 price target.

Sam Burwell has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that suggest TC Energy’s recent share weakness does not reflect its underlying fundamentals. He sees the company’s steady, visible growth profile now trading at a more appealing valuation, creating what he views as an attractive entry opportunity for investors.

In his view, TC Energy’s U.S. natural gas expansion remains on track even amid concerns about incremental power demand from data centers, and the company holds a strong bargaining position on its NGTL system. He also expects supportive government backing for the Bruce C nuclear project, and together these elements underpin his decision to raise the price target from C$100 to C$102 and move the stock to a Buy recommendation. 

In another report released on August 20, US Capital Advisors also upgraded the stock to a Buy with a C$99.00 price target.
