# Invivyd Names Chairman Marc Elia CEO, Adds New Directors

Invivyd, Inc. (IVVD), the U.S. biotechnology company focused on antibody therapies for viral disease, Tuesday announced the appointment of Marc Elia as Chief Executive Officer and he will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board. 

Elia has led Invivyd's corporate and scientific strategy since joining the board in 2022. Ajay Royan, founder of Mithril Capital and a long-term investor in the company, was named Lead Independent Director. Ian Sheffield, founder of North Country Holdings, joined the board as an Independent Director. 

Invivyd said its DECLARATION and LIBERTY studies of VYD2311 are nearing completion, with top-line data expected around the end of the third quarter of 2026. The company is preparing regulatory filings that could support either traditional or accelerated approval pathways for the monoclonal antibody candidate.

In pre-market activity on the Nasdaq, shares of Invivyd were down 5.75 percent, changing hands at $0.9000, after closing Monday's regular session 1.00 percent lower.
