However, five stocks still offer yields of 2.9% or more: Verizon (5.66%), Nike (4.20%), Chevron (3.45%), Procter & Gamble (3.00%), and IBM (2.89%). While most index components are up year-to-date, Nike and IBM trade lower, raising concerns about reinvestment capital for Nike's turnaround. The SPDR Dow Jones ETF is up 9.8% in 2026."

# Dow Jones Industrial Average Dividend Winners: These 5 Stocks Yield 2.9% or More

The Dow Jones Industrial Average trades near record highs. While this is good news for investors, it has lowered the dividend yield of some of the key 30 components since the start of the year.

While some dividend yields have fallen, there are still five stocks that yield 2.8% or more, setting up a good spot for dividend hunters to look.

## Dow Jones Industrial Average Dividend Winners

There are 30 stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average with 28 currently paying dividends. Of those dividend payers, 20 currently yield 1% or more.

For investors looking for a little bit higher dividend yields, here are the five stocks in the index that currently yield 2.9% or more.

- **Verizon Communications** (NYSE:VZ): 5.66%
- **Nike Inc** (NYSE:NKE): 4.20%
- **Chevron Corporation** (NYSE:CVX): 3.45%
- **Procter & Gamble** (NYSE:PG): 3.00%
- **International Business Machines** (NYSE:IBM): 2.89%

Of those five stocks three currently trade higher year-to-date with the other two among the nine Dow Jones Industrial Average stocks that are trading lower in 2026.

Here are the current year-to-date returns:

- VZ: +22.8%
- NKE: -38.7%
- CVX: +35.3%
- PG: +1.3%
- IBM: -21.0%

With Nike stock trading at multi-year lows there could be concern with the current payout taking away capital that could be reinvested in the company’s turnaround.

Other former high yielders in the index have lower yields now with many of the components up double-digit percentages this year.

## What’s Next

Many of the Dow Jones Industrial Average components have long histories of not only paying out dividends, but also raising the dividend payout amount.

This could see the yields rise for some of the components.

As of now, 21 of the 30 stocks are currently up on the year with nine trading lower. Those nine have dragged down the index though.

The **SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF** (NYSE:DIA), which tracks the index, is up 9.8% year-to-date in 2026.

While the Dow Jones Industrial Average trades near record highs, the year-to-date return trails the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, the other two most commonly tracked U.S. stock market indexes.
