# Space stocks edge mixed in after-hours trading, UFO up 1%, RKLB down 1%

Space stocks showed mixed performance in after-hours trading on Tuesday (Sept. 1). UFO (UFO.US) climbed **0.58%** to $43.00, hitting a session high of $43.46. Rocket Lab (RKLB.US) declined **0.58%** to $62.18, with a session low of $61.90. AST SpaceMobile (ASTS.US) edged up **0.33%** to $55.98, while Redwire (RDW.US) slipped **0.49%** to $10.21 and VCX (VCX.US) fell **0.58%** to $34.04.

The space sector lacked major catalysts today, with investors adopting a wait-and-see approach. During regular trading hours, the sector showed volatile performance with most stocks moving less than 1%. Among derivative ETFs, the 2x leveraged ETF (RKLX.US) fell **1.53%** while the inverse ETF (RKLZ.US) rose **1.58%**, reflecting the leveraged exposure. The market expects the sector to continue trading in a range-bound pattern in the near term.
