# Oracle, Alphabet, Valero Energy And More On CNBC’s ‘Final Trades’

On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” **Stephen Weiss** is the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of Short Hills Capital Partners picked **Alphabet Inc** (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG).

Lending support to his choice, Rosenblatt analyst Scott Devitt assumed coverage of Alphabet on Aug. 20 with a Buy rating and set a price target of $410.

**Jim Lebenthal**, partner and chief market strategist at Cerity Partners, named **Oracle Corporation** (NYSE:ORCL) as his final trade.

Oracle will release its first-quarter fiscal year 2027 results after the closing bell on Thursday, Sept. 10. Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings of $1.74 per share on revenue of $19.13 billion.

**Liz Thomas**, SoFi head of investment strategy, recommended **iShares Gold Trust** (NYSE:IAU).

**Joseph M. Terranova**, senior managing director for Virtus Investment Partners, picked **Valero Energy Corporation** (NYSE:VLO).

Supporting his view, Wells Fargo analyst Sam Margolin maintained Valero Energy with an Overweight rating on Tuesday and raised the price target from $356 to $389.

-   Alphabet shares gained 0.6% to close at $337.12 on Wednesday.
-   Oracle shares rose 3.1% to settle at $145.75 during the session.
-   iShares Gold Trust gained 1.5% on Wednesday.
-   Valero Energy shares rose 1.1% to settle at $366.09.
