U.S. stock futures traded mixed as Treasury yields eased, with the Dow and S&P 500 rising slightly while Nasdaq fell. Oil prices remained volatile due to U.S.-Iran tensions. In pre-market trading, Snowflake and Five Below surged on strong earnings, while Broadcom and Campbell's declined due to weak guidance. Moderna dropped after a rating downgrade.

U.S. stock futures traded mixed on Thursday morning as Treasury yields eased. The benchmark U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was trending lower at the time of writing, hovering around 4.752%, after climbing to its highest level in several years on Wednesday. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) were down 0.17%, while those on the S&P 500 Index (SPX) and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) were up 0.06% and 0.28%, respectively, at 8:35 a.m. EDT on September 3.

Oil prices remained volatile amid renewed tensions between the U.S. and Iran surrounding the Strait of Hormuz. At the time of writing, Brent crude (CM:BZ) was up 0.70% to near $96.30 per barrel, while WTI crude (CM:CL) rose 1.12% to $92.05 per barrel.

During Wednesday's regular session, major U.S. stock indices closed higher, snapping a three-day losing streak. The Dow gained 0.56%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite rose 0.46% and 0.45%, respectively. The gains came after a weak start to September, as rising oil prices and Treasury yields pressured sentiment following a strong August.

In Thursday's pre-market trading, Snowflake (SNOW) stock rallied about 24% after the software company reported solid Q2 FY27 results and raised its full-year revenue guidance on AI-driven demand. Plus, Five Below (FIVE) stock rose 6% after the discount retailer reported market-beating second-quarter results.

Meanwhile, Broadcom (AVGO) stock was down about 4% as the semiconductor company's fiscal fourth-quarter revenue guidance fell short of expectations. Also, Campbell's (CPB) stock was down more than 6% in Thursday's pre-market trading, as the food and beverage company's Fiscal 2027 guidance missed expectations.

Moderna (MRNA) stock was down 3% after Rothschild downgraded its rating on the biotechnology stock to Sell, citing valuation concerns.
