# TME-SW Issues USD1B Senior Notes With Coupons Up to 5.65%

TME-SW (01698.HK) 0.000 (0.000%) Short selling $12.76M; Ratio 39.866% announced that it priced an offering of USD1 billion aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes on September 3, U.S. Eastern Time. Among them, the USD500 million notes due 2031 carry an interest rate of 5.05%, while the USD500 million notes due 2036 carry an interest rate of 5.65%.

The notes are registered under the U.S. Securities Act and are expected to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. They will only be offered to professional investors.

The Company expects to receive net proceeds from the Offering of approximately USD991.9 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of offshore indebtedness and share repurchases.
