# Trending | BE Surges 8% on Thursday, Some Call options Soar 1500%

On September 3, Eastern Time, Bloom Energy options saw a total of 237331 contracts traded, with calls accounting for 63% and puts making up 36%.

Bloom Energy has 978478 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 48% and puts making up 51%.

The top volume gainer was the 250 dollars Call option expiring on September 4, 2026, with 5888 contracts traded.

On the news front, Shares rose from $213.63 to $235.55, peaking at $238.41. Volume hit 15.64M on Sep 3. The rally matched a 1500% call options surge, showing heavy derivatives trading and buying pressure drove the move.
