# Memory Chips Rise Broadly in Overnight Session, Micron Up 1.38%, SanDisk Up 1.71%

The memory chip sector rose collectively during the overnight session, with mainstream stocks all trading higher. As of press time, Micron Technology (MU.US) gained **1.38%** to **$971.40** in overnight trading, SanDisk (SNDK.US) rose **1.71%** to **$1,581.58**, Western Digital (WDC.US) advanced **1.44%** to **$447.95**, Seagate Technology (STX.US) climbed **1.98%** to **$814.40**, and Everspin Technologies (MRAM.US) increased **1.51%** to **$16.09**.

Looking back at the regular trading session, memory chip stocks showed strong performance, with Micron closing up over 6%, SanDisk surging nearly 12%, and both Western Digital and Seagate gaining more than 5%. The overnight session continued the upward trend but with narrower gains, indicating investors became more cautious in after-hours trading. Derivative stocks showed divergence, with SNXX.US **up over 3%** at $14.50 and SNDQ.US **down nearly 4%** at $14.85 in overnight trading, while MUU.US rose 2.67% to $31.51 and MUD.US fell 1.34% to $10.28.

At the industry level, memory chip demand continues to benefit from AI data center construction and consumer electronics recovery, with mainstream manufacturers' inventory levels gradually returning to normal ranges.
