# Tech Giants Mixed in Trading, Tesla Down 6%

U.S. tech stocks showed divergent performance during regular trading on Friday (September 5). Tesla (TSLA.US) led declines, falling **5.92%** to $354.08, with an intraday low of $351.32. Apple (AAPL.US) dropped **2.51%** to $319.97, Google (GOOGL.US) declined **1.11%** to $338.46, and Amazon (AMZN.US) edged down **0.15%** to $258.51. On the upside, TSMC (TSM.US) rose **2.85%** to $428.91, and Meta (META.US) gained **1.00%** to $616.77. Leveraged ETFs amplified moves: the 2x long Tesla ETF (TSLL.US) plunged **11.85%**, while the 2x short Tesla ETF (TSDD.US) surged **12.18%**; the 2x long Google ETF (GGLL.US) fell **2.32%**, and the 2x short Google ETF (GGLS.US) rose **1.13%**.

On the news front, Tesla faced significant profit-taking pressure after recent strong gains, briefly breaking below the $352 level during trading. TSMC shares rose on continued strong demand for AI chips. Apple, Google, and Amazon saw modest declines as the market awaits guidance from next week's Federal Reserve meeting.
