# Nvidia Gets Fresh AI Demand Boost as Foxconn Sales Jump 52%

Nvidia Corporation (NVDA) received another encouraging signal on AI infrastructure demand after key manufacturing partner Foxconn (HNHPF) reported a 52% year-over-year jump in August sales, driven in part by strong demand for data-center servers.

Foxconn, formerly known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., generated $29.1 billion in revenue during August. The gain followed a 54% increase in July, extending the Taiwanese manufacturer's rapid growth as technology companies continue spending heavily on AI computing capacity.

The results are relevant to Nvidia because Foxconn assembles servers that use the chipmaker's AI hardware. As concerns grow about whether the global data-center buildout is creating too much capacity, Foxconn's latest sales suggest server demand remained strong through August.

On Friday, HNHPF shares rose about 2.5%, closing at $16.25.
