# QUALCOMM Incorporated  Partners With Amazon to Build Data Centers, Expands Custom Chip Business

QUALCOMM Incorporated (QCOM.US) shares closed up 3.2% at USD174.09 on Tuesday (8th). The company announced a data center infrastructure partnership with Amazon Web Services, with both parties collaborating on multiple generations of custom silicon chips to help expand AWS' artificial intelligence infrastructure.

As part of the agreement, QUALCOMM Incorporated has granted Amazon warrants allowing it to acquire 25 million shares of the company at USD161.26 per share, representing a total investment of USD4 billion.
