# Oracle earnings preview: AI spending, cloud growth and a $638 billion backlog in focus

Oracle reports its fiscal first-quarter 2027 results after the US market close today, putting the software and cloud infrastructure giant back in the spotlight as investors try to determine whether its aggressive AI investment cycle is translating into sustainable growth.

Wall Street expects adjusted EPS of around $1.75 and revenue of about $19.1 billion, which would represent roughly 28% y/y revenue growth.
