# Optical Communication Stocks Decline, AXTI Down 6%, LITE Down 5%

Optical communication stocks declined during regular trading hours on Thursday (September 10). AXTI(AXTI.US) fell **6%** to $64.67, hitting a session low of $64.58. LITE(LITE.US) dropped **5%** to $938.58, with an intraday low of $935.48. AAOI(AAOI.US) declined **4%** to $103.54, and POET(POET.US) slipped **4%** to $7.67.

The sector retreated alongside broader technology stocks amid concerns about AI computing demand growth. Optical module names that had posted significant gains earlier faced profit-taking pressure. Among derivative products, the 2x leveraged ETF LITX(LITX.US) plunged over 10%, while LITZ(LITZ.US) bucked the trend with a nearly 10% gain.
