# JPM: Apple Inc.  Product Pricing Balances Costs and Sales Growth, iPhone Duo Has Differentiated Advantages

JPMorgan published a research report stating that Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) 's autumn 2026 product launch was broadly in line with expectations. Starting prices for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max increased YoY to USD1,199 and USD1,299 respectively, with the overall pricing strategy balancing rising memory costs and opportunities to sustain sales growth. In addition, flexible leasing and trade-in subsidy policies could ease consumers' financial burden and maintain the sales cycle.

JPM stated that the first foldable smartphone, iPhone Duo, with a starting price of USD1,999, demonstrated differentiated advantages in software integration compared with Android foldable devices. The broker would not be surprised if annual sales exceeded the market expectation of 10 million units. Prices of non-iPhone hardware products such as the Apple Watch series remained unchanged, while AirPods 5 saw price cuts. Together with the application of the in-house developed C2 baseband chip across the entire product lineup, this would help lower component costs. JPM maintained an "Overweight" rating on Apple Inc.
