# Alphabet (GOOGL) Is Possibly One of AI's Safer Bets

Alphabet (GOOGL) is one of the safer artificial intelligence (AI) bets because the company's diversification makes it less dependent on any single AI product, model, or customer. The stock has fallen about 19% from its 52-week high of $408.61, even though second-quarter revenue rose 24% to $119.8 billion and Google Cloud revenue jumped 82%.

"Our AI investments are redefining what's possible across every part of our business," CEO Sundar Pichai said after the report. That breadth is the attraction. Alphabet, the tech giant, is spending enormous sums on the AI race, but its custom chips, cash-rich advertising operation, and other assets make it less dependent on any one model or customer than most AI investments. Accordingly, I see the pullback as a good entry point, and my GOOGL stock forecast remains bullish.
