Sony (SONY) also kicked off a big fall run. Additionally, Capcom (CCOEF) had a new hit game, while EA could soon see an even bigger deal take shape. ## **1\. Nintendo Unveils More Switch 2 Games** Nintendo put on a big Direct show for Switch 2. The event brought news on *Metroid Ravenous* and *Kirby and the World Beyond*. *Monster Hunter Wilds* will also launch on Dec. 4. *Final Fantasy VII Revelation* is also coming to the system. ## **2\. Saudi PIF May Merge EA With Savvy** Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund may have more plans for Electronic Arts. Reports say PIF is looking to merge EA with Savvy Games Group. The move would put both firms under one large game group. It could be a major shift in the game space. ## **3\. *Marvel's Wolverine* Leads Sony's Fall Slate** Sony is set to launch *Marvel's Wolverine* on Sept. 15. The new game comes from Insomniac Games. It will lead a busy fall slate for PlayStation. The game also faces a packed run of big new titles coming out later this year. However, Sony also had a falling out with Kojima Productions this week. ## **4\. *Control: Resonance* Gets a Deep Look** Remedy Entertainment showed off more of *Control: Resonance*. The game is set to launch on Sept. 24. The new game moves out of the Oldest House and into a strange New York for a more open world compared to the first title. ## **5\. *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* Hits Stores** Capcom launched *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* on Sept. 4. The game brings back the old Onimusha name but with faster swordplay. It is set in a dark take on old Kyoto. Early fan and press buzz has been good, with 1 million units already sold.
