# Optical Communication Stocks Rise Broadly, POET Up 5%, MRVL Up 5%

Optical communication stocks advanced during regular trading Thursday. POET Technologies(POET.US) climbed **4.89%** to $7.97, hitting a session high of **6.64%** at $8.11. Marvell Technology(MRVL.US) surged **4.53%** to $237.25, while Coherent(COHR.US) gained **4.34%** to $305.88. Nokia(NOK.US) rose **3.42%** to $10.98, though Lightwave Logic(LITE.US) slipped **0.95%** to $926.80.

Continued expansion in AI infrastructure demand boosted orders for optical module and component makers, prompting multiple firms to upgrade sector ratings. Among leveraged products, 2x ETF LITX.US jumped **6.20%**, while inverse ETF LITZ.US declined **5.80%**.
