LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

Tesla has implemented widespread Supercharger price adjustments across Canada. While most drivers face slight increases of $0.01 to $0.03 per kWh, significant hikes occurred in Alberta and Ontario, with some non-Tesla rates jumping substantially. British Columbia saw mixed results, with prices dropping in several communities but rising in urban areas like Victoria. Notable increases were also recorded in Nova Scotia.

Tesla has quietly changed Supercharger prices across Canada, leaving most drivers paying more than they were a day earlier.

A review of Supercharger prices across the country by Drive Tesla found that rates went up at more than 200 sites, while prices dropped at 65 locations, and 10 were unchanged.

For many Tesla owners, the increase is relatively small – typically between $0.01 and $0.03 per kWh. However, there are some notable exceptions, particularly in Alberta and Ontario. There were also significant increases for non-Tesla drivers who use the Supercharger network.

Higher Prices Across Alberta and Ontario

In Calgary and Edmonton, several Superchargers jumped from $0.51 to $0.57 per kWh. That includes Calgary’s 130 Avenue SE and Aviation Road NE locations, along with all three sites in Edmonton.

Drivers of non-Tesla EVs will see an even bigger increase at some locations. At Calgary’s 130 Avenue SE Supercharger, the rate climbed from $0.68 to $0.82 per kWh. Edmonton’s Currents Drive site made a similar jump, rising from $0.64 to $0.78.

Ontario followed the same general pattern. Many smaller cities saw Tesla rates rise by about two cents, while busier locations with peak pricing posted larger increases.

At Ottawa’s Campeau Drive Supercharger, the peak Tesla rate rose from $0.44 to $0.52 per kWh, although the off-peak rate remains $0.28. Burlington increased from $0.51 to $0.56 during peak hours, while Kitchener moved from $0.51 to $0.54. In both cases, the cheaper off-peak rate either stayed the same or came down slightly.

B.C. Is More of a Mixed Bag

British Columbia’s price changes were more mixed. Prices dropped at many highway and Interior locations, but rose at a number of busier urban Superchargers.

Campbell River, Tofino, Port Alberni, Kamloops and several other communities are now $0.03 per kWh cheaper for Tesla owners. Comox dropped from $0.24 to $0.22, while Williams Lake fell from $0.26 to $0.23.

Nanaimo’s original Supercharger at Woodgrove Centre also became cheaper, dropping from $0.29 to $0.26 during peak hours and from $0.21 to $0.19 off-peak. Across town, however, the newer North Island Highway site now has separate rates of $0.28 during peak hours and $0.22 off-peak.

Victoria’s Uptown Supercharger saw its peak rate increase slightly, from $0.33 to $0.35, while its $0.21 off-peak price stayed the same.

Enfield Climbs to $0.71 per kWh

One of the biggest increases was in Enfield, Nova Scotia, where Tesla’s peak rate rose from $0.64 to $0.71 per kWh. However, there is some relief for drivers charging outside the busiest hours, as the off-peak price dropped from $0.38 to $0.35.

Here is a list of notable price changes for Superchargers across Canada – remember to always check your app or the in-car navigation for the latest pricing in your area.
