# Optical Stocks Fall in After-Hours, Corning Down 3%, LITE Slips 0.1%

Optical communication stocks traded mostly lower in after-hours session on Friday (September 11). Corning(GLW.US) declined **3.04%** to $161.35, hitting a session low of $160.65. LITE(LITE.US) slipped **0.10%** to $928.00, while Axcelis Technologies(AXTI.US) fell **0.37%** to $64.53. Coherent(COHR.US) edged down **0.09%** to $305.10, and Marvell Technology(MRVL.US) declined **0.33%** to $235.32.

On the news front, the optical sector had already posted gains during regular trading, prompting profit-taking in after-hours. Corning's sharper pullback followed its stronger daytime performance, while other major names like LITE and COHR saw modest fluctuations.
