# Utilities Down as Yields Test Multiyear Highs — Utilities Roundup

Shares of power producers fell sharply as Treasury yields tested multiyear highs.

The yield on the 10-year note briefly topped 5%, trading at the highest level in 19 years. 

Florida utility NextEra Energy forecast adjusted earnings at the high end of its previous 2026 range, while continuing to advance regulatory approvals for its proposed $67 billion acquisition of Dominion Energy. 

AirJoule Technologies is making its first acquisition to advance its technology for AI data centers, as it seeks to commercialize its water technology.
