# Apple Inc.  Reportedly Accepts Samsung's 1Q27 Memory Pricing

According to a report by Jiemian News citing sources, Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) has accepted Samsung's memory pricing for 1Q27, with DRAM (dynamic random access memory) priced at nearly USD2/Gb and NAND flash memory at nearly USD0.33/Gb, representing an increase of 30% to 40% from pricing in 3Q26.

An employee at a memory manufacturer said smartphone demand this year has already become clear, with no significant increase expected in 4Q. Manufacturers are currently determining production capacity for next year, and Apple Inc., as a leading player, is often among the earliest batch to finalize arrangements.

Analysts believe that if prices for 1Q27 materialize as expected, smartphone makers may expand the use of second-hand memory components to hedge costs. Some manufacturers have reportedly already conducted evaluations and are using second-hand memory products in overseas markets.
